Two people were arrested in the death of a man who was shot in Moreno Valley, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said Wednesday, April 17.

On Jan. 28, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting in the 13600 block of Red Mahogany Drive in Moreno Valley at around 1:46 a.m.

Roshadd Johnson, 41, of Moreno Valley, was found with life-threatening injuries and was transported to a medical facility, where Johnson died hours later, Wednesday’s statement said. A second victim, identified as Alleaua Moore, was injured in the shooting, court records show.

Court records show that the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office obtained an arrest warrant for Michael Dwight Harris, 34, of North Las Vegas on March 6  on suspicion of killing Johnson and attempting to kill Moore.

Investigators said the night of the shooting, Harris rang the Ring doorbell at Johnson’s residence. Once Johnson opened the door, Harris shot five times at the residence, said a sheriff’s investigator’s declaration in support of the arrest warrant.

Call records placed Harris at Johnson’s home during the time of the shooting, and after the shooting, he went to a location on Jamaica Street in Victorville, the address displayed on his license, the sheriff’s investigator’s declaration said.

Search warrants into Harris’s social media showed a likeness between photos on his social media and surveillance footage from the shooting, according to the arrest declaration.

According to the arrest declaration, Tatiana Tene Parks, 34, formerly of San Bernardino, was the girlfriend of both Harris and Johnson.

On Monday, April 8, Parks and Harris were arrested in Las Vegas on suspicion of murder and accessory to murder, respectively, and booked into Clark County Jail in Las Vegas, Wednesday’s statement said. They were awaiting extradition to California.

Information on the motive for the shooting, if known, was not immediately disclosed.

“The investigation is ongoing; however, no additional suspects are being sought,” Wednesday’s statement said.
