High-speed pursuit with deputies ends in Clovis crash

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A driver crashed in Clovis after a high-speed chase with Fresno County Sheriff’s deputies early Monday morning.

Deputies say this started when they found a stolen KIA around 2 a.m. in the Mayfair District in central Fresno. The driver then took off and the chase continued eastbound on Clinton Avenue

According to officials, the driver was traveling around 80 miles per hour into the city of Clovis where the driver then lost control of the vehicle at 10th and Clovis Avenue and crashed.

The driver was rushed to the hospital and their condition is unknown.
